Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for implementation and integration of quality principles and promoting it to the stakeholders within the project. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will have a thorough understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Test Methodologies. Who you are: You put your clients' needs first. What your day looks like: Design test automation architecture & build the framework for cloud based microservices in Azure cloud platform with blue‑green deployment strategy. Provide technical leadership, technology guidance and mentor others on test automation design/implementation best practices for microservices & cloud native applications. Partner with the Project Sponsors and QA team to remove roadblocks and keep projects moving forward. Review software design specifications, code, and test plans to ensure they meet quality standards. Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software products and services. Identify and report software defects and work with the DevOps team to resolve them. Promote best practice of Test Driven Development, Business Driven Development (TDD/BDD) and quality shift left initiatives with whitebox, greybox testing. Collaborate with DevOps team members to establish and maintain software quality standards and best practices. Ensure that software products and services meet regulatory compliance standards. Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, technical diploma, or other applicable software development work experience. 5+ years of computer programming experience, preferably in Java - Python. Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, etc.). Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, etc. Experience with data warehouses or ETL testing. Hands‑on experience with designing & building automated testing tools and frameworks. Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a DevOps environment with implementation of CI-CT-CD pipeline for various deployment patterns in cloud. Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, and JUnit. Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), infrastructure as code (IaC), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.). Experience in working with test management tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and diagnose issues that arise during the software development process.
