The Manager is responsible for planning directing and addressing the maintenance and landscaping needs of the Stade Saputo and the Nutrilait Center. This role requires a high degree of flexibility as the individual may be required to work days evenings or weekends depending on the match schedule the season and weather conditions. Main responsabilities Oversee all activities related to the maintenance of CF Montréals sports fields and green spaces. Ensure top-quality facilities for athletes and users by continuously optimizing maintenance practices throughout the season. Plan organize and coordinate maintenance and improvement work for sports fields and landscaping. Ensure that fields comply with the highest standards and certifications of Major League Soccer CONCACAF and FIFA. Manage the seasonal opening and closing of fields by applying the appropriate products and fertilizers at the right time. Ensure the proper functioning and optimal maintenance of equipment including mowers heavy machinery and the irrigation system. Supervise motivate and support the development of maintenance staff. Manage orders and track the necessary equipment and products. Collaborate closely with various departments to meet the Clubs needs. Participate in the planning and management of the departments annual budget. Stay informed about trends and technological innovations in the field. Make recommendations to improve facilities and practices. Perform any other related tasks. Qualifications : Required qualifications PersonalityProactive resourceful meticulous solution-oriented and a strong team player. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sports field management or the golf industry. Supervisory experience in landscaping or golf course management. University degree in Turfgrass Management or a related field. Knowledge of horticulture is an asset. Holding a CD4 or CD11 certificate for the purchase and application of products is an asset. Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously work independently and perform under pressure within tight deadlines. Capacity to sustain a fluctuating schedule which includes nights weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the Club. Fluency in French and English both spoken and written; the individual must be able to build business relationships within and outside Québec and regularly interact with Major League Soccer based in the United States. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite. Valid drivers license. Good physical condition with the ability to lift and carry heavy objects and remain standing for extended periods depending on Club activities. About the Role As the Sports & Outdoor Education (SOE) Program Supervisor your job is to assist with the planning and preparation of your respective program stream leading up to the 2026 summer camp season. Under the supervision of the Youth Programming Coordinators you are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all SOE camps which includes leading a team of Instructors and Leaders to effectively deliver thematic age-appropriate lesson plans to campers. You will also work closely with the other Program Supervisors Office Coordinator Supplies & Inventory Supervisor and Supplies and Inventory Assistants. This is a casual position working the equivalent of full-time hours from May 1 - August . Scheduled shift times are 8:30am - 4:30pm (May and June) and anytime between 7:00am - 6:00pm (July and August) Monday through Friday. Program Supervisors must have flexible hours for the months of July and August. All MRU Camps staff are required to provide the following at their own cost prior to commencement: Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search (valid within 1 year). Standard First Aid (valid within 2 years) and CPR Level C (valid within 1 year). Responsibilities Assist with the onboarding process by planning and delivering training and orientation week for all 100 summer camp staff. Manage and direct a team of approximately 20 summer camp staff. Provide behavioural and classroom management guidance to Instructors and Leaders. Effectively resolve questions issues and concerns from parents staff and campers in a professional and timely manner. Complete mandatory daily weekly and seasonal administrative tasks (answering emails and phone calls staff schedules attendance sheets registrations final reporting etc.). Liaise with supplies and inventory to confirm that the needs of all assigned camps are being met on a regular basis. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of both staff and curriculum to ensure programs are operating at a high standard. Contribute to promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all MRU Camps stakeholders. Qualifications Experience working in a childcare/educational setting in a supervisory and administrative capacity (minimum 2 years). Experience in curriculum development lesson planning and organizing activities for children and youth. Experience with customer management software is an asset. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. Excellent research and writing skills. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing priorities and deadlines. Must be proficient in using Google Workspace tools (Google Drive Docs Sheets Mail Forms etc.) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
