The role focuses on ensuring the structural integrity and airworthiness of high‑performance aircraft. MRB Support Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve material and structural issues identified during production or service. Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities, providing technical guidance and recommendations. Analyze stress reports, non‑conformities, and deviations, proposing effective engineering solutions to maintain airworthiness. Work closely with Design Directors to ensure compliance with safety standards. Technical Engineering Structural Analysis Conduct detailed stress analysis using FEM and classical hand calculations. Evaluate structural components, assemblies, and modifications. Assess fatigue life, static strength, and damage tolerance. Identify critical areas and recommend design improvements. Technical Engineering Documentation Prepare stress reports, compliance documents, and engineering change requests (ECRs). Document findings, assumptions, and methodologies. Maintain accurate records for certification purposes. Continuous Improvement Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes. Collaborate with R&D to enhance stress analysis tools and methodologies. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing. How to thrive in this role? Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or related field). Minimum 10 years of experience in aircraft structural stress analysis. Proficiency in FEM software such as Nastran, Abaqus, or Ansys. Familiarity with aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, Transport Canada). Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
