As the HR Manager, you will be a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the General Manager. Making a direct impact on employee relations, recruitment, and organizational culture. Your Day to Day will include: Leading employee relations efforts and providing HR guidance. Managing and providing leadership to the Payroll/HR Coordinator. Acting as the primary HR contact for internal and external inquiries. Managing full‑cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviews, and job offers. Overseeing onboarding and off‑boarding programs. Maintaining accurate HR records and file management. Managing WSIB claims and return‑to‑work processes. Overseeing compensation, benefits, and payroll‑related HR functions. Supporting and enhancing performance management initiatives. Leading HR projects to improve employee engagement and workplace culture. Coordinating learning and development programs. You’ll be a great fit if you possess: 3+ years of HR experience, including team management, ideally in a manufacturing environment. A bachelor’s degree (CHRP designation is a strong asset). Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR best practices. Extensive hands‑on recruitment experience and a keen eye for top talent. Familiarity with payroll is an asset. Experience with HRIS (an asset) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. A professional, confidential, and solutions‑oriented approach to HR leadership. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
