Microwave Circuit Designer – QuantumCore, Inc QuantumCore, Inc is seeking a skilled Microwave Circuit Designer to support the development of superconducting quantum devices. The successful candidate will focus on the design, simulation, and optimization of microwave circuits and components critical to quantum computing applications. Key Responsibilities Design and model high-performance microwave circuits and components, including resonators, filters, transmission lines and packaging for superconducting quantum systems. Perform electromagnetic simulations and prepare CAD drawings for fabrication. Collaborate with fabrication and experimental teams to ensure designs compatibility with nanofabrication processes and cryogenics equipment. Develop innovative microwave design strategies to enhance device reliability and scalability. Learn to use advanced instruments such as vector network analyzers and spectrum analyzers for device testing and validation. Education Successful completion of a Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field. Qualifications Strong knowledge of electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS, Microwave Office). Experience in CAD design tools (e.g., KLayout, AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Experience in scripting languages (e.g, Python). Experience with cryogenic or quantum applications is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research-driven environment.
