Job Location: United States - Remote, Optional Work from HomePosition Title: Circuit Simulation ArchitectJob SummaryThis role is for a self-motivated technical leader for multiple circuit simulation products in the Silvaco SmartSpice line of products. Lead the specification, architecture, and development of core simulator features working with a geographically distributed team of software engineers and technical managers. Hands-on technical leader with extensive experience in C / C++ building advanced circuit simulation solutions.Essential Job Functions and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage the technical roadmap for Silvaco SmartSpice line within the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) business unit.Lead, build, and develop a geographically distributed development team, including performance assessments and evaluations.Work closely with customers and cross-functional stakeholders to communicate technical requirements, proposals, and project statuses.Develop technical product roadmaps addressing customer requirements and ensuring competitive leadership.Deliver software product releases on time and with high quality, aligned with the product roadmap.Provide clear, accurate, and effective written documentation.Qualifications and Required ExperienceAdvanced degree (MS / PhD) in electrical engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, or a related field with 6+ years of experience.Extensive experience in numerical analysis, sparse matrix algorithms, and techniques for solving systems of differential equations.Experience in architecting, developing, testing, debugging, and performance analysis of HPC software.Deep understanding of algorithms for VLSI circuit simulation, electrical circuit analysis, and related concepts.Knowledge of solid-state physics used in compact modeling, Verilog-A modeling, and compilation for circuit simulation.Proven skills in implementing high-performance numerical algorithms and data structures, with multi-threaded programming experience.Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.Creative problem-solving abilities.Experience working in international and remote teams is preferred.Physical RequirementsProlonged sitting and typing.Visual clarity at approximately 20 inches or less, including working with small objects or reading small print.Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.BenefitsExceptional benefits package.Paid Time Off and Holiday pay.Employer-matched 401(k) plan.Work-life balance valued environment.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $00,000-000,000, determined by role, level, location, experience, education, and other considerations.
