We’re looking for a Principal Technical Artist with deep Unreal Engine expertise to push the boundaries of creativity and technology. You will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise to automate tasks, enhance processes, and develop cutting‑edge solutions and tools. In this role you will: Acts as a resource person for the team members to determine the technical impact of the artistic vision. Simplifies production by finding ways to automate tasks and improve processes. Develops best practices, solutions and tools in order to solve problems. Promotes the reuse of assets, know‑how and tools across multiple projects. Ensures that the team has the technical expertise to do the work required in the project. Seeks to constantly push the limits of technology. What we’re looking for: 10+ years as a Technical Artist in the gaming industry, with at least one AAA title shipped. Proficiency with Unreal Engine. Strong understanding of 3D modeling, textures, frames, animation, lighting, special effects, and scripts. Expertise in optimizing game assets and improving art pipelines and visual quality. Knowledge of procedural systems and dynamic lighting challenges. Experience with Houdini, tooling development and Unreal Shader development will be a plus. Dans ce rôle vous devrez : Agir en tant que personne-ressource pour les membres de l'équipe afin de déterminer l'impact technique de la vision artistique; Simplifier la production en trouvant des solutions pour automatiser les tâches et améliorer les processus; Développer les meilleures pratiques, solutions et outils afin de résoudre les problèmes; Encourager la réutilisation des ressources, du savoir‑faire et des outils sur plusieurs projets; S'assurer que l'équipe possède l'expertise technique nécessaire pour réaliser le travail requis par le projet; Chercher constamment à repousser les limites de la technologie. Ce que nous recherchons : Plus de 10ans d'expérience en tant qu'artiste technique dans l'industrie du jeu vidéo, avec au moins un titre AAA sorti; Maîtrise d'Unreal Engine; Excellente compréhension de la modélisation 3D, des textures, des frames, de l'animation, l'éclairage, des effets spéciaux et des scripts; Expertise en optimisation des ressources de jeu et en amélioration des pipelines artistiques et de la qualité visuelle; Connaissance des systèmes procéduraux et des défis liés à l'éclairage dynamique; Une expérience avec Houdini, le développement d'outils et le développement de shaders Unreal sera un atout. #J-18808-Ljbffr
