About our Client Our client is a general contractor with over 25 years of experience delivering large‑scale commercial and industrial projects across British Columbia. Known for its collaborative culture, long‑term employee retention, and commitment to excellence, they have built over 30 million square feet of industrial and commercial space—including warehouses, cold storage facilities, food processing plants, and tilt‑up structures. About the Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, documentation‑heavy builds within a trusted and growth‑oriented firm. You’ll oversee multiple concurrent projects from pre‑construction through occupancy, working closely with superintendents, clients, and consultants to ensure safe, high‑quality, and on‑schedule delivery. About the Position You’ll lead the planning and execution of commercial and light industrial construction projects, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain accountability for all project phases. This role requires strong leadership, a technical mindset, and the ability to foster collaborative working relationships across the project team. Responsibilities Oversee commercial and industrial projects from design through closeout and occupancy Manage subtrade procurement, scope definition, and contract execution Collaborate with site teams to maintain quality, schedule, and safety standards Track progress using Timberline and Microsoft software for cost coding, submittals, RFIs, and change management Coordinate with clients, consultants, and municipalities to resolve design or site issues Review monthly progress claims, budgets, and subcontractor invoices Report regularly to senior leadership on project financials and performance Qualifications 10+ years as a Project Manager (already operating at PM level) Commercial and light industrial construction experience (warehouses, cold storage, food processing, car dealerships, self‑storage, studios, tilt‑up and structural steel—tilt‑up strongly preferred) Delivered 3–4 projects from excavation through occupancy Ability to manage 2–3 projects simultaneously Strong experience with client coordination, safety oversight, and heavy documentation processes Compensation & Benefits Salary: $130,000 – $145,000 Bonus based on performance and profitability RRSP Matching Comprehensive Benefits Plan Supportive, family‑oriented environment with mentorship and growth opportunities We believe diverse teams build stronger companies, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
