Senior Project Manager – Strategic Initiatives On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a full-time, permanent Senior Project Manager. In this role, you will lead high-impact initiatives across business transformation, operational improvement, and technology enablement. You will own projects from inception through execution, partnering closely with cross‑functional teams and external vendors to deliver measurable results. Responsibilities Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex, high‑impact projects across business units such as operations, marketing, product, HR, finance, and technology Create and manage project plans across all key disciplines—scope, schedule, budget, risk, and communications Coordinate internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure aligned execution and successful outcomes Lead and manage the RFP process from requirements gathering through vendor evaluation and selection, ensuring solutions meet project and organizational needs Anticipate and manage interdependencies, capacity challenges, and risks Apply strategic thinking to align project goals with broader organizational objectives, identify opportunities, and proactively mitigate risks Act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle, from planning to operational handoff Mentor and coach junior project managers to develop skills, maintain standards, and support consistent project delivery Communicate progress and status updates tailored to various stakeholder groups, including senior leadership Drive strategic thinking and contribute to future‑state planning during project execution Champion continuous improvement through post‑project reviews and process enhancements Qualifications 10+ years’ experience leading enterprise‑scale, cross‑functional projects, including SaaS implementations Experienced working in matrix environments and navigating complex stakeholder groups Proficient in overseeing RFP processes, from development to vendor selection, ensuring solutions align with project objectives and organizational standards Communicate clearly with executive, technical, and operational audiences Strong at building collaborative relationships with internal and external partners Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with a sharp attention to detail Proactive, self‑directed, and committed to high‑quality delivery Previous experience in the insurance industry or with business transformation projects is an asset Have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s degree or certifications like PMP, Agile, or Change Management are assets) Affinity Earn Know someone who’s great for this, or any of our open roles?
