About Our Client Our client is sourcing a Planning and Analysis Officer for a 6-month contract. About the Opportunity Lead financial close activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews, with a focus on variance and trend analysis for a learning-focused business unit. Review and validate periodic accruals prepared by operational partners to ensure financial accuracy and completeness. Present financial results and insights to senior leadership and collaborate with corporate finance stakeholders. Participate in regular financial review meetings and contribute to cross-functional discussions. Act as a trusted analytical partner, providing financial and operational insights to support strategic planning and decision‑making. Deliver complex, multi‑period financial analyses and contribute to data‑driven initiatives across the organization. Design, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and financial models to support growth, margin optimization, and performance monitoring. Identify trends, assess operational performance, and highlight risks and opportunities. Oversee reporting processes related to learning programs, with a focus on improving efficiency and data quality. Work closely with data and analytics teams to align reporting and insights. Budgeting, Forecasting, and Planning: Prepare and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts, including: Key assumptions and drivers Variance and trend analysis Supporting schedules, reports, and presentation materials Ensure all planning activities meet established finance timelines and standards. Review forecasts and budgets with senior leadership and incorporate feedback. Pricing and Profitability Analysis: Evaluate pricing strategies across learning offerings to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business objectives. Develop pricing for new and customized learning solutions. Perform break‑even and cost‑efficiency analyses to support course viability. Regularly review and update instructor and delivery cost structures. Marketing & Revenue Support: Partner with marketing teams to support promotional and outreach initiatives. Provide performance metrics, revenue insights, and targets to assess campaign effectiveness. Support annual and in‑year target setting to ensure alignment between revenue and marketing goals. About You Required Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a financial analysis or similar role supporting a business or operational unit, with demonstrated expertise in: Period‑end financial analysis Budgeting and forecasting for revenues and expenses Financial modeling and performance analysis Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis techniques Strong analytical judgment and business insight Proven ability to communicate financial results clearly to senior leaders Qualifications & Core Competencies: Required: Professional accounting designation (CPA), with a minimum of 2 years of post‑designation experience Experience using business intelligence and analytics tools to interpret large data sets Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight How to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
