As a Marketing & Social Media Coordinator at Nature’s Way Canada, you will have the unique opportunity to be a ‘jack of all trades’ and learn marketing from the ground up. You will work closely with the Nature’s Way Canada Brand Team, assisting with managing the digital product catalogue, leading social media content creation, and supporting executing various marketing initiatives across the team. We’re looking for someone who gets things done, is highly organized, is eager to take on a diverse set of responsibilities, stays up to date on the latest social media trends, and brings energy, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas to the table. Candidates should thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working on high performance teams. The position will report directly to a Brand Manager and will support activities across the entire Marketing and Digital teams.


Social Media Content Development & Community Management


  • Work with the Brand Team to develop a thoughtful and strategic content plan for all social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) with a goal to engage, create conversation, and grow audiences and meet business objectives.
  • In collaboration with the appropriate stakeholders, lead all aspects of strategic Social Planning and Community Management:
  • Develop and execute social content including managing the content calendar workflow, photography, reel/video development, and copywriting.
  • Oversee all community management reporting and analysis.
  • Post scheduling on all social properties.
  • Liaise with agency partners for creative and copywriting support as needed.
  • Assist with influencer and UGC outreach and relationship building.
  • Support HR team in content creation and posting for company owned LinkedIn channels.
  • Routinely analyze the performance of social media channels and edit content, timing, and moderation strategies and tactics to optimize engagement and deliver content that best speaks to audiences.
  • Create KPIs and reports for the Brand and Sr. Management Teams to inform the overall strategy and give an evidence-based foundation to our social media efforts.
  • Be proactive in looking out for social media trends and changes in algorithms, updates, optimizations etc., to always maximize our efforts and performance.
  • Support as needed to facilitate community management of channels with our Customer Experience team.

 

Product Content Database Management


  • Maintain the organization’s Product Information Management system (PIM/Salsify) platform managing the accuracy of product details including product titles, descriptions, images, and label content.
  • Liaise with appropriate contacts across the IT and marketing teams to ensure content is accurately updated in a timely manner.
  • Lead copywriting of product descriptions and details for new products and own ensuring all details are properly published on time and with high quality.
  • Optimize content based on brand strategy, customer reviews, customer feedback, etc.
  • Continual monitoring of product content database to ensure accuracy.
  • Support on maintaining our digital asset management (DAM) system including managing assets, permissions, and updates to the system.

 

Marketing Support


  • Support in the development and execution of marketing materials and programs.
  • Support on new product launch plans.
  • Coordinate and support the execution of various marketing initiatives including packaging, media, consumer education, and internal communications.
  • Support brand plan development and execution.
  • Support and facilitate any corporate marketing initiatives.


Qualifications & Experience


  • 1-3 years’ experience in a marketing or digital role.
  • Proven social media content creation experience is favorable for this role.
  • Background in marketing, specifically related to CPG considered an asset.
  • Completion of a university degree with Business, Marketing or Public Relations focus and/or equivalent experience.
  • The candidate must be a confident, polished writer who is organized, energetic, creative, proactive, and detail oriented.
  • Strong communications skills to engage with external agencies and vendors.
  • Must possess strong analytical capabilities.
  • Demonstrates team effectiveness, building internal partnerships, working with others, and shows respect to all team members.
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media software such as Later.com, Canva, and CapCut (or similar software) considered a major asset.
  • Experience with PIMs including Salsify considered an asset.
  • Show personal initiative and demonstrate effective planning and organizational skills.
