About the Role The advisory team is expanding to better meet client needs by leveraging our existing partnerships and complementing traditional engineering services. We are looking for an Advisory Consultant who brings strong commercial acumen and due diligence project experience. Typical Work Support clients with strategic advice for the procurement and capital expenditure of their infrastructure programs and projects. Develop procurement documentation, including alternative forms such as P3s, CMGCs, and PDBs. Provide structured decision‑making support, options assessment/appraisal, and delivery of procurement strategy. Review and analyze existing procurement documents to identify improvements for future tendering processes. Engage stakeholders to capture lessons learned and define requirements. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking. Prepare tender documentation for client RFPs, adapting templates and developing technical specifications for various project types. Deliver due diligence mandates, including lender’s technical advisory services for project financing. Produce due diligence reports assessing borrower readiness for project financing, including red flag reports and risk overviews. Review credit agreements and loan requirements, assessing projects for compliance with financing requirements. Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders, including issuance of RFIs. Manage project‑management mandates and budgets. Draft reports and conduct project audits. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certifications are an asset. 5+ years of career experience in project, commercial, and procurement management. Experience with various procurement models such as P3, Design‑Build, Progressive Design‑Build, and Construction Manager/General Contractor. Understanding of procurement processes, tender documentation, and commercial management, supported by experience in the construction industry across diverse project types. Experience with commercial and financial management of projects/programs and familiarity with contractual language. Ability to manage client relationships and balance multiple priorities to drive successful outcomes. Experience in multiple sectors (Built Environment, Transportation, Water, Energy, etc.) is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentation skills; a positive, team‑player attitude.
