As a Sales and Account Manager, you’ll play a vital role in managing client relationships, exploring new business opportunities, and supporting the Business Development Manager. If you’re a proactive self-starter with exceptional organizational and communication skills, this position is for you What You’ll Do: Manage communication with clients in your portfolio, providing updates on pricing, packages, and product changes. Research the waste management market to identify how CWL can best serve its segments, ensuring compliance with guidelines. Respond to RFQs promptly, ensuring client needs are understood and addressed. Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to develop proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to client requirements. Actively seek and convert new leads into loyal, long-term customers. Monitor municipal, provincial, and federal portals for waste management opportunities. Stay informed about marketplace changes, including mergers and acquisitions, to keep CWL competitive. Represent CWL at tradeshows and sponsored events, showcasing our offerings and building relationships (travel required). Utilize and maintain customer relationship management (CRM) systems to ensure smooth operations. What We’re Looking For: Experience: 3-5 years in sales, preferably in the waste management or environmental services sector. Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and managing multiple priorities effectively. Attitude: Positive, professional, and customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering excellent service. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with waste management practices and regulatory frameworks. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications are a plus. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
