We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer to join the Digital Royalties and Vendor Payments team. We are a part of the Digital Acceleration org that enables Digital businesses like Prime Video, Books, Music, Appstore, Audible and Games to launch new business lines and products. We are building next generation Royalties and Vendor Payment solutions that will enable Amazon Digital businesses to automate royalty calculation, payment and accounting processes while meeting regulatory requirements. This is a great opportunity to tackle some very interesting and complex architectural problems, innovate in the space and drive product direction. You will work with a team of passionate software engineers and will get an opportunity to learn from experienced technical leaders. If you enjoy cutting through ambiguity, creating strategic paths and obsessing over efficiency, write to us We have just the right space for you to hit the ground running and fuel your growth Key job responsibilities Work as a technical leader within the team, owning an important track in the new program Independently define the architecture for an important track in the Next Gen financial automation program and will develop multiple new services Influence the technical direction of other teams, both within the Digital Acceleration organization and in partner businesses Work with state of the art technologies in the AWS, Big Data and Open Source spaces and sometimes even build your own About the team Amazon Digital Acceleration powers ordering, subscriptions, and device management for Prime, Amazon Video, Music, Audible, Alexa, and Kindle, amongst other digital businesses. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
