We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer to join the Digital Royalties and Vendor Payments team. We are part of the Digital Acceleration org that enables Digital businesses such as Prime Video, Books, Music, Appstore, Audible and Games to launch new business lines and products. We are building next‑generation royalties and vendor payment solutions that will automate royalty calculation, payment, and accounting processes while meeting regulatory requirements. Independently define the architecture for an important track in the Next‑Gen financial automation program and develop multiple new services. Influence the technical direction of other teams, both within Digital Acceleration and partner businesses. Work with state‑of‑the‑art technologies in AWS, Big Data, and Open Source spaces and occasionally build your own solutions. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience. 3+ years of non‑internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems. Experience programming with at least one software programming language. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. Compensation may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
