Toronto, ON (Hybrid) :: SWIFT Financial Solutions Specialist (P.R / Canadian Citizens Only) Duration: 6+ Months Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (Hybrid 2-3 day onsite/week) Position Overview: We are in pursuit of a seasoned expert specializing in SWIFT Financial Solutions, who will offer custom‑tailored advisory services, execute deployment strategies, and extend high‑level technical assistance for banks and financial institutions adopting the SWIFT network infrastructure. The candidate should possess an in-depth understanding of SWIFTNet frameworks, familiarity with various financial communication protocols, and an adeptness in facilitating payment solutions. Their role will encompass collaborating with both the fiscal and IT divisions to guarantee the smooth incorporation and heightened functionality of SWIFT utilities. Job Functions: The chosen candidate will be responsible for the configuration and administration of SWIFT interfaces, maintaining adherence with ISO 20022 norms, rectifying issues related to financial messaging, providing expert counsel on safeguarding protocols, and steering the merging processes with existing financial systems. Additionally, the role includes backing up digital transformation drives in spheres such as payment transactions, liquidity management, and the corporate banking sector. Essential Competencies: Profound proficiency with SWIFT platforms and applications (e.g., SWIFTNet, SWIFT Alliance Access/Entry, SWIFT CSP, RMA). Direct involvement with ISO 20022 and proficiency with MT/MX messaging standards, alongside a grasp of the payment operations circuit. Insight into financial communication norms, international transaction systems, and fast payment modalities. Acquaintance with the mechanics of bank operations, Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) regulations, compliance, and settlement processes for payments. Technical capabilities in the realms of integration, configuration management, system evolution, and problem‑solving in SWIFT‑centric contexts. Experience in safeguarding practices and protocols, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), cryptographic certifications, and adherence to the SWIFT Customer Security Programme (CSP). Capability to synergize with varied team structures, dispense specialized advice, and compose detailed technical documentation. Desired: Holding a credential as a SWIFT Accredited Specialist / Accredited Expert.
