Khure Health’s flagship AI Clinical Co-Pilot (clinical decision support) platform integrated with the practice electronic medical record, allows physicians to quickly identify high-risk patients for rare and complex chronic disease, improve patient care, and accelerate clinical research. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Technology to join our leadership team and drive the innovation and development of our cutting-edge healthcare AI products.


Position Overview: The Vice President of Technology will be responsible for executing and helping to shape the overall product vision in partnership with Khure leadership aligned with business objectives owning the execution of the product roadmap, and leading the execution of the development team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in technology and product development, particularly in the healthcare AI and data science domain. The VP of Technology will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and impactful solutions, and will also be expected to contribute to coding efforts as needed.


Key Responsibilities:

(1) Product Vision and Strategy:

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company's goals and market needs.
  • Own the product roadmap, ensuring it reflects customer needs, and market opportunities, as determined together with leadership, sales and marketing. 
  • Ensure Khure’s technology is utilizing the latest technological and AI advancements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.


(2) Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing development team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Oversee the recruitment, development, retention of top technical/AI talent.
  • Foster strong collaboration between product development, data science, product management, clinical teams, sales and marketing, and other departments.


(3) Product Development and Execution:

  • Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Implement best practices in agile development, project management, and quality assurance.
  • Contribute to coding and technical problem-solving, setting an example for the development team.
  • Manage and adhere to annual Technology department budget, including negotiations with and management of vendors and suppliers.


(4) Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other senior leaders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.


(5) Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise in AI, machine learning/NLP/LLMs, data science, and front and back-end software development.
  • Ensure the architecture and infrastructure are robust, scalable, and secure.
  • Engage hands-on in coding and technical reviews to drive excellence.
  • Participate in key customer meetings as a Technology expert where necessary.


(6) Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning, encouraging innovation and the adoption of new technologies and team skills.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or a related field;  Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in technology leadership roles, with a focus on product development and execution. Ideally in healthcare.
  • Strong background in healthcare AI, data science, machine learning, and full-stack software development.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a product vision and strategy.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and project management.
  • Proficiency in coding and willingness to engage in hands-on development.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

About Compensation

$175,000 to $225,000 total compensation: salary, bonus, benefits, and HEALEWLL restricted stock units.
