ADP experience is a MUST have


Your responsibilities

•Process weekly payrolls, union, non union and salary

•Ensure all government and 3rd party payments are issued

accurately, Weekly & Monthly

•Prepare weekly journal entries pertaining to payroll

•Year End balance, prepare and issue year end documentation

for all provincial and federal requirements

•Prepare monthly government statements as required (Stats

Canada)

•Review to ensure all new hire and terminations are processed

accordingly

•Prepare record of employments and manual cheques, as needed

•Identify process improvement initiatives and define standards for

new processes

•Act as back up for the Payroll Team

•Additional reasonable duties as assigned by the Management

Team



Your qualifications

•Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in a fast paced

unionized environment

•PCP Certified or in progress

•3 years’ experience with ADP WFN and Oracle

•Strong understanding of Payroll, HR, processes, and

data, including CBA agreements and benefit

procedures

•Effective organizational and interpersonal skills,

including written and verbal communications

•Ability to exercise good judgement in high pressure,

sensitive situations

•Ability to meet aggressive deadlines

•Strong time management skills

•Intermediate MS Office skills
