Accounting Consultant with SAP, Manufacturing DataMTX is a 30+ year IT & ERP Consulting firm based in Atlanta with offices in Toronto and Melbourne. We are seeking someone with a solid accounting background and experience with SAP master data along with manufacturing industry skills. The duration will start as a 1-month contract and, if successfully completed, we will extend to at least 6 months. We are accepting both contract and W4 (salary) candidates. This role would be supervised by an experienced BDO director who can guide them on day-to-day duties, especially items that are new to them. With that framing, this candidate ideally would have experience recording journal entries, managing/completing month-end work papers related to Inventory and COGS. They must be able to analyze the trial balance / general ledger in order to identify account-specific drivers of favorable/unfavorable performance. Management of SAP master data will be important – when new products or changes to existing products need to be updated in the system, this role will need to tactically process these updates.
