Team Sustainable Infrastructure Employment Type Permanent Salary Salaries typically range from $83,037 - $110,717 annually, based on qualifications and experience, plus a performance-based incentive. Location FinDev Canada headquarters is in downtown Montreal. For the right candidate, Ottawa or Toronto will be considered, with the flexibility to work under a hybrid model (home/office). Position Overview Within the Sustainable Infrastructure team as part of the larger Investments team, the successful candidate will participate in the origination, structuring and delivery of tailored financial solutions to private sector companies and projects contributing to sustainable development of developing countries. Exposure to infrastructure project finance and credit analysis, structuring, documentation and transaction management. Assess the credit risk and recommend risk mitigation strategies to balance impact and business requirements. Play a role in the evolution and continuous improvement of FinDev Canada’s practices and processes. What You Will Be Doing Support the origination and identification of opportunities in the Sustainable Infrastructure field. Structure and deliver tailored solutions for financing Sustainable Infrastructure projects. Contribute to the evaluation and preparation of investment proposals, including due diligence and analysis of complex transactions. Develop and utilize financial models for valuation, risk assessment and cash flow profiling. Research and keep current on sector and industry trends. Participate in relevant events and conferences. Be a key resource to all individuals on the Investments Team. What We Are Looking For – Must-haves Completion of an MBA, CA, CFA, CMA or CGA (or combination of education and experience). Minimum 3 years of experience in project finance, commercial lending, investment banking or similar in the Sustainable Infrastructure field. Strong financial and credit skills; sound business judgment and ability to structure a variety of financial instruments. Excellent financial analysis, credit and modeling skills. Strong business judgment in identifying and assessing risk. Client relationship and negotiation skills and focus on client needs. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to work in multicultural teams. Excellent organizational, administrative and time management skills. What We Are Looking For – Nice-to-Haves Experience in emerging market, infrastructure background, international and/or commercial banking. Bilingualism in both official languages (English and French); fluency in Spanish is a plus. Will Travel Willingness to travel.
