Viral Nation is seeking a dedicated Account Director with a robust mix of influencer marketing, social media, analytics, and content marketing experience. You will drive the day-to-day ownership of client programs, collaborating with our COE (Centre of Excellence) and Agency Operations teams to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery across diverse client scopes. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership, guiding a team of Account Supervisors and owning the seamless execution of client programs. Your passion for culturally relevant social and influencer strategies, plus expertise in paid and earned engagement, enables you to own client programming from inception to completion. You will orchestrate tactical planning, budget management, influencer oversight, and delegation to the supporting Agency Operations team. You will measure success in partnership with our BI & Measurement team and navigate post-procurement influencer facilitation and challenging client conversations. You will work cross-functionally with COE teams, manage relationships with influencers, and ensure alignment with global marketplace disclosure guidelines to drive influencer-led and social-first initiatives. You should be client-facing, confident, and able to work autonomously while navigating collaborative dynamics and when necessary, effectively managing upwards. What You'll Do Here Own and lead flawless execution of client scopes, working with the VP/Director of Client Services to identify areas for strategic growth. Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of client scopes with exceptional client service. Develop and implement overarching strategic direction for a diverse portfolio of social and influencer campaigns. Collaborate with the COE team to deliver creative and innovative work across global clients. Lead influencer engagement, paid social, measurement, creative ideation, briefs, client relationships, and presentations; stay ahead of trends. Own post-procurement influencer management, fostering enduring partnerships and content creation aligned with brand narratives. Manage team development and growth for Account Supervisors; support career development for the Agency Operations Team. Oversee influencer campaigns through Viral Nation’s proprietary platforms. Foster cross-functional collaboration with COE teams to ensure timely delivery and deliverables. Lead by example to cultivate a collaborative, inclusive environment that drives creativity and growth. You'll Need to Have 6+ years of digital/social/marketing experience Expert knowledge of paid and organic influencer tactics Experience managing multiple client portfolios across diverse services Strong understanding of influencer marketing and social media platforms Proficiency with influencer management software (e.g., CreatorIQ, Klear, Tagger, Upfluence) Excellent project management skills with attention to detail Collaborative work with planning and creative teams to drive outcomes Understanding of paid and social amplification Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, or similar presentation software Experience with cross-channel integration Certification in Facebook Blueprint, Twitter Flight School, and/or Google Analytics Experience with social tools like Sprout, Sprinklr, Hootsuite CRM experience (e.g., HubSpot) Viral Nation is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in our agency.
