The ASM works collaboratively with the Store Manager and corporate leadership to manage, maintain, and supervise day‑to‑day retail operations at a Canna Cabana store location. Sales Associate Support Motivate and inspire team members to be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking. Support the Store Manager and staff by providing positive, constructive feedback to foster professional growth. Assist with work procedures and policies so all team members understand expectations. Follow SOPs and ensure team compliance as policies and regulations change. Be accessible and responsive to team member questions, suggestions, and concerns, helping resolve conflicts. Lead by example and collaborate with staff to manage high‑volume retail situations. Sales and Customer Service Use customer and team member feedback to implement changes that enhance the customer experience. Track daily employee and store sales to maintain optimal performance. Daily Store Operations Responsibilities Maintain store compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Organize and communicate all required reporting, paperwork, and state tracking system records. Assist the Store Manager with inventory, sales, and compliance audits. Perform all opening and closing procedures. Ensure the sales floor is adequately stocked at all times. Coordinate with management and senior leadership to perform daily, monthly, and yearly inventory audits and reconciliations. Log and dispose of expired, damaged, or returned product according to regulations. Assist with AGCO/wholesale deliveries, ensuring accuracy against invoices. Provide daily correspondence via email and the manager’s log to team members as needed. Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non‑disclosure agreements. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications 4‑5+ years of retail management experience. Possess or be able to obtain a Cannabis Retail Manager License from AGCO within the first month of employment. Must hold a Clean Criminal Background check and pass an extensive background check. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience managing in a unionized environment. Sound knowledge of cannabis plants, strains, and industry standards set by AGCO. Knowledge of local and state laws and regulations related to retail cannabis. Ability to work nights, holidays, weekends, and different locations. Strong leadership, time management, prioritization, communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Detail‑oriented, organized, flexible, and empathetic. Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and extremely positive attitude. Must successfully pass an extensive background check.
