Technical Analyst – Infrastructure & Cloud Hiring Manager: Program Engagement Manager Location: Hybrid – Scarborough – 2 days/week (subject to change: 3–4 days onsite may be required) Contract Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension Business Group: GTEP – Solutions, Integration, and Delivery. This team of engagement managers supports various business lines across the Bank by helping them navigate infrastructure and networking areas. They ensure that individuals facing issues, concerns, or challenges can effectively resolve them to meet project deliverables. Project: The role involves supporting multiple Lines of Business (LOBs) on diverse projects. Work varies by project but primarily focuses on providing infrastructure and network support, including networking and related services. Typical Day in Role Provide infrastructure support (GCP, Azure) to the various Business Lines Project management of major initiatives Prepare reports with respect to stability of infrastructure Coordinate various support teams for major incidents Generate firewall rules Participate in support meetings to determine issues and provide a resolution Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills 8+ years of relevant working experience in technical space, as a Technical Analyst and/or Engagement Specialist 1–3+ years’ experience working with ServiceNow ticketing system 5+ years’ experience with physical and virtual infrastructure support (on‑premise) Networking experience Nice‑To‑Have Skills Experience with Cloud (GCP, Azure) Best Vs. Average Candidate Ideal candidate is very independent and can hit the ground running; proactive in asking for help if needed and can act confidently; strong communication skills – has to be diplomatic and patient in how they communicate with LOBs who at times can be demanding; have an analytical mindset to understand the problem they are facing that they need to help resolve – so need someone who can ask the questions and probe and take ownership of that ticket; need good technical skills of infra and networking and the people skills to be able to deliver.
