Williams Lake has something for everyone. Role and Facility Information Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) is undergoing renovation with planned completion in 2026. Currently, CMH is a Level 2 Community Hospital with 28 inpatient beds and offers ER, OR, Med‑Surg, Obstetrical units, lab and diagnostic imaging, and an outpatient Hemodialysis Unit. The redevelopment project will add 25 inpatient beds (for a total of 53), a new emergency department and a mental‑health unit. You will work 8 hours a day, seeing an average of 12–16 inpatients per shift. Participation in after‑hours call is mandatory. Compensation Clinical Service Contract – Estimated remuneration for a full‑time hospitalist is $336,162.00 per year, plus MOCAP level 2. Benefits and Incentives May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Retention premium 12.32%, Retention flat fee $19,092, relocation funding $9,000–$15,000, recruitment incentive $15,000 (based on 1.0 FTE). Rural incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer. Candidates with a BC or Canada student loan may be eligible for BC or Canada loan forgiveness programs for those living and working in a rural community.
