Hospitalist – Cariboo Memorial Hospital Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Williams Lake, BC is in the process of major renovations. The hospital currently has 28 inpatient beds and will expand to 53 beds upon completion of the 2026 redevelopment. Location Williams Lake, British Columbia, Canada Role Overview We are seeking a Hospitalist to join our acute inpatient medicine team. The role involves medical and co‑management of complex medical and surgical patients, as well as palliative care. Responsibilities Work 8 hours a day, seeing an average of 12‑16 inpatients per shift. Serve as the most responsible physician (MRP) for complex medical and co‑management of surgical patients. Participate in mandatory after‑hours call. Collaborate with CMH specialists and family physicians to deliver comprehensive patient care. Engage in leadership development opportunities through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program (optional). Compensation & Benefits Full‑time hospitalist estimated annual income: $336,162 plus MOCAP level 2. Additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement, including retention premium 12.32% and retention flat fee $19,092. Relocation funding available $9,000 – $15,000. Recruitment incentive $15,000 (based on 1.0 FTE). Candidate may be eligible for BC or Canada loan forgiveness programs.
