As an Auto Claims Advisor, you’ll provide compassionate and analytical support to customers, coordinate claims from start to finish and help build lasting relationships. Responsibilities Support customer claims from start to finish: arrange towing, set up appraisals and explain coverage. Gather, organize and verify information and documentation to compile complete claim files. Reconcile estimates from vendors to ensure appropriate settlements. Maintain a positive file count and open/close ratio to contribute to team productivity. Collaborate with internal partners, stakeholders and external vendors such as Enterprise and repair shops. Research coverage scenarios and apply knowledge to claim files. Demonstrate customer‑centric objectives and contribute to TD Insurance Group deliverables. Be available to greet and welcome customers at TD Auto Centres. Apply non‑biased methods to achieve fair claim settlements. Communicate clear processing requirements and provide timely updates. Participate in team activities to foster a positive work environment. Qualifications Preferred: 1+ year of claims adjusting experience; postsecondary education considered an asset. Excellent customer service skills with a dedication to exceed expectations. Superior time‑management skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Proven negotiation skills for positive outcomes. Clear written and verbal communication and active listening. Strong investigative skills and analytical mindset. Support for continuous process improvement. Candidate actively pursuing Chartered Insurance Professional or other relevant education preferred. Provincial claims licensing may be required.
