Job Overview TD Insurance is part of TD Bank Group and provides products including credit protection, life, health, travel, home and auto insurance. Location & Compensation Calgary, Alberta, Canada Hourly: 35 hours per week. Pay: $49,050 – $73,600 CAD annually. Base pay may vary based on skills, experience and business needs. Job Details As an Auto Claims Advisor you will assist customers immediately following an automobile accident to ensure they feel supported and their needs are met. What You’ll Do Support customer claims from start to finish: arrange towing, set up appraisals and outline coverage under policy terms. Gather, organize and verify required information and documentation from all sources to ensure a thorough compilation of facts to resolve claims. Reconcile estimates from preferred vendors to ensure appropriate settlements for vehicle damage. Contribute to team productivity objectives by maintaining a positive file count and open/close ratio. Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors such as Enterprise, repair shops, and TD Auto Centre partners. Research coverage scenarios and apply this knowledge to claim files. Learn and demonstrate customer‑centric and strategic objectives while contributing to TD Insurance Group’s deliverables. Be available to greet and welcome customers as they arrive at TD Auto Centres. Communicate clear claims processing requirements to customers while maintaining detailed claims notes and delivering timely progress updates. Participate as a member of the team and contribute to a positive work environment. Job Requirements One or more years of claims adjusting experience preferred, but applicants without claims experience are encouraged to apply. Excellent customer service skills, dedicated to meeting or exceeding client expectations. Superior time‑management skills; thrives in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities. Proven ability to negotiate positive outcomes when reasonably possible. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills; active listening. Strong ability to conduct thorough investigations and analyze evidence. Demonstrated support for company process improvements. Active pursuit of Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and/or other relevant continuing education preferred. Provincial claims licensing may be required.
