We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary offices. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance. About The Role Responsible for client communications including regular touch points, advice on internal policies, and problem resolution. Liaise with internal departments and advocate for clients’ interests within Peoples Group. Meet with clients by phone, web conferencing and in person. Provide weekly updates to the executive team on all account activity. Experience interacting and presenting to all levels of management as well as to clients. Manage clients’ expectations professionally and ensure that their issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Support business objectives of individual clients and provide strategic insight into clients’ program. Responsible for managing and negotiating agreements, including pricing, for all assigned clients. Identify opportunities within client portfolios and propose new products and services to enhance performance. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance, resolving issues, and advocating for their needs internally. Lead regular client touchpoints via phone, video, and in-person meetings (10% travel within the GTA). Identify opportunities to expand client portfolios through upselling and new product offerings. About The Qualifications 5+ years of experience in account management, preferably in banking, fintech, or payments. Experience with strategic account management considered an asset. Proven ability to grow and manage client portfolios strategically. Strong relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple internal stakeholders. Comfort with client-facing roles, including presenting to senior leaders and handling escalations. Familiarity with contract review, analytics, and project management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), and other business software. Compensation The expected salary for this role is approximately $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
