What You’ll Be Doing: Engaging in the development of materials data products, supporting both customer requirements and internal objectives. Conducting independent research, manipulating and analyzing data to inform product features and improvements. Applying materials simulation techniques to support product development, including finite element analysis in solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, electromagnetics, and biomechanics. Performing bug verification and database builds, ensuring product reliability and accuracy. Employing best practices for data management, analysis, and reporting to maintain high standards of quality. Collaborating with a diverse team of professionals, contributing to project goals and sharing knowledge across disciplines. What You’ll Need: BS, MSc, or PhD in material science, engineering, or a related physical science discipline Hands‑on experience solving complex engineering/materials problems using recognized scientific methods. Proficiency in simulation tools, preferably finite element analysis for solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, electromagnetics, or biomechanics. Experience with scientific data analysis, visualization, and familiarity with relational databases. Coding skills for automating data analysis/manipulation (e.g., Python, C#, Excel VBA macros).
