Junior Geologist Resource Estimation

With us, you’ll get the opportunity to: Enter exploration data into a database for monitoring and modelling Interpret geological and structural information from mining projects using 3D software Stay up to date with changes and developments in mineral resource estimation methods and reporting regulations Help draft technical reports and studies (NI 43-101, preliminary, pre-feasibility and feasibility) Support clients with resource modelling and updates at exploration or mining operating sites and provide solutions to potential problems Conduct quality audits on advanced exploration or development projects for all aspects of geology (drilling, sampling, analyzing, quality assurance and control (QA/QC) and estimating mineral resources) and ensure important recommendations are implemented Do your qualities and values match our corporate culture? Results-driven Strong commitment to health and safety Commitment to sustainable and agile solutions Caring mindset that puts people first Rigour and ethics Summary of certifications and job requirements Bachelor's degree in geology or geological engineering Member of a professional order of geologists or engineers or ability to obtain membership From one to six years of relevant experience Excellent ability for learning new software Advanced level of English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally.
