Legal Counsel / Legal Documentation Negotiator Montreal, Quebec, Canada Salary: $220,000.00–$270,000.00 Posted: 5 days ago Our Client A reputable national law firm. Responsibilities Independently manage commercial litigation and class action files from start to finish. Represent clients in court and argue motions. Supervise and mentor junior associates. Work closely with the Montreal team and regularly with other offices on large national matters. Contribute to business development and internal firm initiatives. The Montreal office is growing rapidly, particularly in litigation. The team is tight‑knit, non‑hierarchical, and highly collaborative. The firm is known for its professional yet collegial environment, and sophisticated cross‑country mandates. Qualifications Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar. Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience. Outstanding academic credentials and strong litigation skills. Experience in commercial litigation and/or class actions is strongly preferred. Confident, collaborative, and self‑sufficient, with the ability to lead files independently. Open to candidates from reputable mid‑sized firms. Dual qualification (QC/ON) is an asset but not required.
