Team Auctions is looking for a hands‑on, results‑driven Site Manager to oversee all operational aspects of the company's auctions within a specific region. We are currently looking for someone to help maintain our Taber yard and assist in the development of this location as the company grows. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the auction process within their region, including scheduling, logistics, and execution. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies for all auction operations within the region, while identifying and mitigating risks, such as security and legal risks. Collaborate with Regional General Manager to efficiently manage site budgets for auction operations within the region, ensuring that financial targets are met. Provide direction to regional staff regarding inventory for auctions, including intake, yard coordination and sale lotting. Oversee how assets are arranged so that they are both visually appealing and convenient for viewing for potential buyers. Manage customer relations related to auctions within the region, ensuring that customer inquiries and issues are addressed promptly and effectively. Provide regular reports to management on the performance of auction operations within the region, including financial performance and key metrics. Create a positive team environment with an open communication culture. Set clear team and individual goals and objectives according to the company strategies. Oversee the overall performance of their team by conducting regular performance reviews. Collaborate with the HR Development team regarding hiring, individual and team training/coaching needs, cross boarding and offboarding of team members. Understand any conflicts within their team and provide relevant solutions. Manage any applicable team expenses (reviewal and approval). Manage team schedules by allocating shifts, review and approval of shift adjustments, overtime, and time off. Perform other various duties as required from time to time. Familiarity with auction or equipment sales industries is an asset. Wage Range $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 a year Qualifications Must be reliable, proactive and able to multitask. Must be able to comfortably drive/operate heavy equipment (eg. forklift, skid steer) Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high‑paced and at times stressful environment. Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software. Working Conditions Will be required to work outside in all weather conditions. Motion Parameters Required to climb stairs, walk, squat, kneel, or drive and stand for long periods of them. Vision and Hearing Requirements The ability to judge distances when loading/unloading and placing items. Psychological Demands Expected to make quick decisions, supervise workers, problem solve, read, write and interpret data.
