ABOUT THE POSITION Executive Assistant to the CEO Job Req: 995 Location: St. Albert - Corriveau Division/Branch: / Classification: Administrative Officer 2 Status: Permanent - FT Salary: $65,804.83 - $86,384.31 Reports to: Christina Bruce Closing Date: December 9, 2025 JOB SUMMARY The Executive Assistant to the CEO plays a critical role in supporting the CEO and the CEO’s Office by providing high-level administrative and organizational support. This position ensures the smooth operation of the CEO’s Office and enables effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including the Board, government offices, and senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the CEO’s calendar, ensuring accuracy and prioritization of commitments. Prepare confidential materials, correspondence, and meeting documentation. Coordinate travel arrangements, conference registrations, and expense claims for the CEO and CEO’s Office. Organize and support Executive Team meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and distribution of materials. Maintain records and filing systems, ensuring compliance and confidentiality. Act as a liaison between the CEO and Executive Team, Board members, government officials and stakeholders. Provide backup support to the Executive Assistant to the Board. Handle inquiries and requests with professionalism and discretion. SKILLS & ABILITIES Diploma in business administration, office administration, communications, or a related discipline (equivalencies considered). Minimum 5 years of progressive administrative experience, including at least 2 years supporting senior executives or boards. Experience in a public sector or regulated environment is an asset. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; SharePoint experience is an asset. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels. High degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive information. Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Why Join Us?
