This position is ideal for a physician interested in exploring a long-term fit with our team and community. We offer flexibility in FTE and scheduling to support work-life balance and professional growth. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to patients in the region. Participate in a 1 in 4 call rotation, ensuring coverage and continuity of care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Support teaching and mentorship opportunities with medical learners, if interested. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered care planning. This position is compensated on an Alternative Payment Program, providing security in a fixed salary. Facility Details 42 Acute Care Beds 20 bed Psychiatry unit 4 surgical suites, including a dedicated Orthopedics OR 6 ICU Beds (potential to expand to 8) 20 Bed Emergency Department with 2 Trauma Bays Large Ambulatory Care Unit Community Cancer clinic Hemodialysis Unit Pediatric Care Space MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine services The hospital will include a Tier 3 neonatal intensive care unit and special care nursery to support antenatal and postnatal services. It is a training site for medical students and residents. Compensation Compensation Type: Alternative Payment Arrangement Estimated Remuneration: 513,984 Billing Split: none Benefits and Incentives Vacation Leave: 6-8 weeks annually including CME Retention Premium: 18.48% Retention Flat Fee: $28,045 Relocation Funding Available: $9,000–$15,000 Recruitment Incentive: $10,000 Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME) available Relocation funding tiers: $15,000 if relocating from outside Canada; $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC #J-18808-Ljbffr
