This position is ideal for a physician interested in exploring a long-term fit with our team and community. We offer flexibility in FTE and scheduling to support work-life balance and professional growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to patients in the region.Participate in a 1 in 4 call rotation, ensuring coverage and continuity of care.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.Support teaching and mentorship opportunities with medical learners, if interested.Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered care planning.This position is compensated on an Alternative Payment Program, providing security in a fixed salary.Surround yourself by the coastal mountain range and rainforest, with access to outdoor activities year-round. Terrace offers a vibrant community with strong healthcare and educational presence, including training sites for medical students and residents.Facility Details42 Acute Care Beds20 bed Psychiatry unit4 surgical suites, including a dedicated Orthopedics OR6 ICU Beds (potential to expand to 8)20 Bed Emergency Department with 2 Trauma BaysLarge Ambulatory Care UnitCommunity Cancer clinicHemodialysis UnitPediatric Care SpaceMRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine servicesThe hospital will include a Tier 3 neonatal intensive care unit and special care nursery to support antenatal and postnatal services.
