Linxus Group is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our clients team in Victoria BC. If you're a senior electrical engineer with a proven track record of leading a strong team, we want to hear from you Position Title: Lead Electrical Engineer Direct Reports: 2-5 Compensation: up to $175k, salary will depend on experience & education Position Responsibilities Lead the electrical engineering team (2-5 direct reports). Stay current with electrical engineering practices and trends. Foster team growth and make personnel decisions with the Director. Ensure effective project delivery and coordinate team activities. Resolve technical issues and collaborate with pre-construction and construction teams. Develop and maintain standardized electrical specifications and documents. Provide peer review, mentorship, and serve as the electrical Engineer of Record (EOR) for multifamily developments. Analyze and design electrical systems, oversee drawings, and attend project meetings. Support construction by answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and issuing necessary documentation. Conduct site inspections and participate in constructability reviews. Coordinate drawings between disciplines and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications : Recognized degree in electrical engineering. Minimum 10 years of related experience in multifamily residential or construction industry. Minimum 7 years of leadership/management experience. Professional Engineer registration in BC, AB, or MB (other provinces are an asset). High-rise design experience is an asset. Experience as the electrical EOR for multi-story buildings in Canada. Ability to travel for site visits. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, PDF editing software, and electrical design drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit). Demonstrated leadership experience and exceptional communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
