JOB SUMMARY: Chelsea Avondale is looking for a for a talented and driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a vital part in managing the Finance team’s accounting operations and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst will also lead the treasury function and monitor the Company’s cash needs. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage core finance functions, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Review of journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring that accounts are reconciled monthly. Manage annual audit working papers of companies within the group and liaise with external audit team. Prepare monthly group consolidation and KPI analysis of movement in accounts period over period. Preparation of year-end external financial statements across multiple entities. Monitor short-term liquidity and forecast cash needs on a monthly basis. Collaborate with the CFO and senior leadership to align treasury functions with business strategy. Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow and internal controls. Liaise with all departments within the organization to support the finance function. Collaborate with other Finance team members to support overall department goals and objectives. Assist with special financial projects including complex financial analysis. QUALIFICATIONS: University degree in Business Administration or equivalent. You have a minimum of five years’ experience in financial reporting. You have an accounting designation. You have P&C insurance experience. You have IFRS 17 experience. Familiarity with NetSuite is an asset. You have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. You have excellent communication and documentation skills. You have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. You have exceptional attention to detail. You have the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines. You have the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
