Through long-form interviews, event coverage, and short-form storytelling, MAXCast amplifies voices shaping the future of Muslim excellence in business, government, academia, and the non-profit sector. We are now seeking a Podcast Operations Coordinator to help establish, manage, and optimize our podcast’s technical and publishing infrastructure. Role Overview The Podcast Operations Coordinator will oversee the backend systems, tools, and workflows that power MAXCast. This person will ensure that every episode moves smoothly from recording to publishing while maintaining high standards for quality, consistency, and distribution. You’ll play a key role in setting up and improving our podcast hosting, distribution, and analytics processes. Responsibilities Infrastructure & Setup Configure and manage hosting on Buzzsprout (or equivalent) Set up and maintain RSS feeds and directory submissions (Spotify, Apple, Google, YouTube) Create standardized episode templates for descriptions, tags, and thumbnails Publishing & Workflow Management Manage episode uploads, metadata, and publishing schedules Coordinate with the Media & Content Volunteer team for timely releases Organize file storage, naming conventions, and backup systems Analytics & Optimization Monitor listener statistics and platform performance Provide insights to improve reach and engagement Research and implement best practices for podcast SEO and discoverability Automation & Integrations (Optional) Connect Buzzsprout with tools like Descript, Canva, Google Drive, Notion, or Zapier Suggest ways to automate routine publishing or analytics tasks Requirements Strong organizational and technical skills Comfortable using or learning podcast tools (Buzzsprout, Spotify for Podcasters, Riverside, or similar) Familiarity with content workflows and digital tools (Google Workspace, Notion, Canva, Descript, etc.) Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Assets: Previous experience in podcast production, media, or operations Understanding of RSS feeds, podcast directories, and metadata Basic audio knowledge or editing familiarity (Descript, Audacity, etc.) Why Join MAXCast Build hands-on experience in podcast operations and digital media management Collaborate with creative professionals and community leaders Be part of a growing national platform promoting Muslim excellence Flexible hours, remote collaboration, and creative freedom #J-18808-Ljbffr
