Associate Director Real Estate

Turner & Townsend is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Associate Director to join our Real Estate/Property team in Halifax. Responsibilities Team leadership of a section of Project Management personnel across Halifax/Maritimes region Business development: taking responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients and identifying and acting upon cross‑selling opportunities Staff management: line management for Senior Consultants, Consultants and Graduate Consultants, including performance reviews Recruitment: involvement in the selection and recruitment process, including interviews and input into resource management Financial management: using the tools provided to keep track of ongoing margin levels and fee/resource forecasts for each commission Knowledge management: ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database Qualifications A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager supervising construction projects of increasing complexity Commercial or retail fit‑out experience required Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or a similar field PMP certification Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project or P6 Strong numerical and technological acumen, with experience using web‑based data platforms Benefits 100% covered health and dental benefits for you and your dependents (including paramedical services) Health spending account to top up expenses not covered in the benefits program RRSP option with company matching Annual learning and development budget Access to a range of online learning tools and support for career development and growth Coverage of one professional membership or license fee per year if directly related to your role Vacation flex and sick days – we believe in work‑life balance Flexible hybrid work approach that allows colleagues to find balance between their professional and personal lives Commitment to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture that promotes a sense of belonging Turner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
