The Business Development Associate with Collage will: Unlocking Collages referral partner program for accounting firms with a focus on payroll software. Generating new opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting across email phone LinkedIn and other channels. Running the full sales cycle: qualification discovery product demos proposal building and closing. Managing a small inbound pipeline and taking prospects from first touch to closed-won. Becoming an expert in our HR and payroll platform so you can confidently guide prospects through their decision-making process. Maintaining accurate activity and pipeline management in our CRM. Testing messaging improving outreach sequences and contributing to top-of-funnel strategy. Refine the outbound process optimize conversions and report on results. Partnering with Marketing and Product teams to relay market feedback and client needs. To be Successful as a Business Development Associate with Collage you will need: 1-3 years of experience in SaaS sales business development or a related client-facing role. Strong communication skills with confidence running discovery and product conversations. Comfort with outbound prospecting and a willingness to experiment with new tactics. Ability to manage a sales pipeline prioritize effectively and stay organized in a fast-moving environment. Experience using a CRM (we use Pipedrive) and basic sales automation tools. A growth mindset and enthusiasm along with a desire to support Canadas SMBs. Experience with HR payroll or accountants considered a plus. Fluency in English and French both orally and in writing is an asset. We are looking for people who are motivated by: The challenge and excitement of generating pipeline and closing deals.
