maxgeo is a leading supplier of data solutions to the mining and exploration industry. Currently, there is a full-time opportunity for a Senior Geological Data Consultant to join our global team. We are based in Fremantle, WA,providing flexibility with our hybrid work environment(home & office mix)and accommodating remote locations too. Our head office is located in Fremantle, WA, however this role will be based at our branch in Vancouver, Canada. Role requirements Delivery of quality solutions with superior client focus A proactive and dynamic individual who thrives on challenges and enjoys the support of working within a team-oriented environment Exposure to automation of data processes and appreciation how this can improve business efficiencies Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential Practical experience inthe mining / exploration industry Responsibilities The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Compilation and administration of geological databases from clients Monitoring and reporting on geological activities Assessment of data quality against set criteria Production of weekly and monthly statistics and reports Data preparation and delivery / transmission to clients Liaising with clients, as well as site visits (ability to travel) Providing insights and recommendations to the business Understanding and supporting maxgeo solutions Client consulting and communication Delivering training of maxgeo products to clients Skills and experience Minimum of 3-years’ experience in mining or exploration Minimum 3-years’ experience with geological databases Working knowledge of DataShed is an advantage Tertiary qualification in computing science or geoscience is an advantage Exposure to automating data capture Willing and able to travel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Team player with excellent client focus What we can offer you A hybrid working environment (remote and officemix) accommodating your own personal choices of work-life wellness Professional environment in an informal atmosphere with a start-up like, flat structure Good career path based on performance and willingness to learn Extensive training offered to become really good at what you do Lateral thinking rewarded Commitment to your professional growth & further education assistance Employee Assistance Program Birthday day off Family day out 3 days per annum at a charity organisation of your choice Paid leave between Christmas & New Year How to apply Fast-track your application with a resume and a short video Use your own phone or preferred device and provide us with: A brief introduction of yourself, professionally What you are bringing as a point of difference and expertise towards this role with maxgeo.
