Hybrid: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday in the office Salary Range: $75,000 – $105,000 annually Overview We are seeking an Export Control Specialist to support trade compliance and ensure adherence to Canadian and U.S. export control regulations . This role will help maintain policies, procedures, and licensing processes to support compliant operations while balancing business needs. Key Responsibilities Review and process export documentation , including end-user statements, permits, and licenses Support export/re-export authorizations and related approvals Ensure required permits and licenses are in place throughout contract delivery Maintain export control systems and reporting with strong attention to accuracy Ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR , Canadian Controlled Goods , and export/import regulations Liaise with internal teams and government agencies on trade control matters Support compliance investigations and risk reporting Deliver export controls training to internal employees Assist with export classification, jurisdiction reviews, and process improvements Required Qualifications 2+ years of export controls or trade compliance experience Degree or diploma in International Trade, Commerce, Law , or equivalent experience Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. export regulations (ITAR/EAR, Controlled Goods, export permits) Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal/external stakeholders Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and solve complex compliance issues Must be able to obtain required security clearance(s) and pass compliance assessments Nice to Have Experience supporting regulated technology environments (e.g., aerospace/space/defence) #J-18808-Ljbffr
