Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day organization and direction of all production and development activities of a designated shift to meet or exceed production goals in a safe, cost-effective and environmentally sound manner. Lead and mentor a team; motivate, inspire and ensure the safety and well-being of team members. Ensure personnel, equipment and work areas comply with safety policies and regulations by providing training, tools and monitoring. Develop and promote a positive employee relations environment within the operations crew and across shifts. Provide clear work objectives and performance expectations to achieve safety and production targets; minimize and eliminate situations that could cause equipment damage. Maximize crew and employee performance and safety through training and aligning employee experience with daily equipment allocation and priorities. Provide consistency between shifts by timely setup of and informing the oncoming shift of pertinent operating conditions.
