The Opportunity
RVS invites you to apply for a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Learning Support teaching position starting immediately until June 27, 2025 at Ecole Edwards Elementary School. Ecole Edwards Elementary School, located in the City of Airdrie, serves English and French students from grades K-5. Information regarding this school may be found at . Fluency in French is an asset for this position but not a requirement.
This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.
The following qualifications are preferred for the Learning
Support Teacher:
Minimum 5 years
classroom teacher experience
1 year educational
background or experience in one of the following areas:
Learning Supports
Inclusive Education
Special Education
Disability Studies
The successful can didate must possess, or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at
