What you’ll do Manage, oversee and coordinate all aspects of projects from award through completion, including site management and successful and timely completion within budget. Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project plans, review and approve estimated costs, provide technical assistance to the sales force, supervise installation labor and subcontractors, and manage project finances. Proactively communicate project requirements to the team and wider organization, and maintain accurate records of job status, changes, material flow and control records for reporting. Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and deadlines. Coordinate procurement of materials, supplies and services for timely, cost‑effective completion. Establish milestones, analyze costs, use financial systems for actual vs. estimated reports, and adjust plans as needed. Execute and review scope of work, terms and conditions in contracts, including cost control, delivery fulfillment, and quality of service. Perform managerial responsibilities such as mentoring, coaching, performance management, and oversight of subcontractor selection. Perform other duties as requested. What You’ll Need Expert project‑management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems). Advanced coaching, mentoring, and staff‑development skills with a solid leadership orientation. Advanced team‑leadership, team‑building and facilitation skills. Shows initiative and proactive behavior. Extremely adaptable, responsive to changes and able to influence others with strong written and verbal communication. Excellent analytical skills for problem resolution and solution development. Advanced financial analytical skills, including cost control. Expert ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; solid programming skills and troubleshooting ability. Basic knowledge of IT networking principles. Requirements Professional Project Management certification or equivalent experience. Minimum of eight years of previous, relevant engineering, field service or project‑management experience (preferred). Experience in electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation (preferred). Minimum of five years of project supervisory experience.
