**Project Manager**
Department: Global Process Optimization & PMO
Location: Laval, Quebec
Type: Temporary (1 year), Full time
Hybrid mode: 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely
The Project Manager will report directly to the Senior Manager PMO and will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of assigned projects. Working as a member of the PMO team, the Project Manager will manage complex projects for the Global Finance organization that improve process efficiencies and effectiveness and may or may not include technology changes. The Project Manager must be a self-starter, an advocate of change, and will act as a main liaison across all functional teams in order to bring a project to a successful completion.
**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
Here are just a few ways that you’ll help make journeys better:
- Organize and lead internal and external cross functional team members to deliver on time and within budget
- Provide critical thinking, challenging leadership and project teams on their assumptions and improvement processes
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks and ensure resource availability
- Manage executive team and project team expectations
- Research, diagram and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes
- Collect data to identify root cause of problems
- Prepare process diagrams, business specifications and flowcharts, analyze data and recommend alternatives for improving processes
- Develop business strategies and tactics to implement changes to existing or new processes
- Develops metrics for process measures, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities
- Perform cost-benefit analysis for proposed changes to aid management in making strategic and tactical decision
- Communicate status issues, risks and changes to all stakeholders including executive leadership and project teams
- Establish project budget, track expenditures, and report variances
- Present to all levels of the organization
**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Proven working experience in project management (3+ years)
- A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in related field
- Project Management methodology certifications is a plus
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
**SKILLS REQUIRED**:
- Ability to successfully engage in multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously
- Can introduce and foster a culture of change
- Strong interpersonal skills. Able to build understanding and trust as well as develop a solid network throughout all levels within the organization.
- Can identify the needs and expectations of others and provide mutually acceptable solutions.
- Strong organizational skills. Can effectively manage various projects and meet tight deadline
- Process oriented. Can easily recognize areas of improvement and develop strategies for implementation resulting in improved efficiencies
- Ability to manage and influence across all levels of the organization
- Ability to develop a clear and detailed plan
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Availability to travel to meet with stakeholders
