Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Hydro Vac Operations Director. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of our daily operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and excellence in service delivery. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for operational excellence in the hydro vac industry. Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize hydro vac operations, including fleet management, resource allocation, and service expansion. Operational Oversight: Direct and supervise all aspects of daily hydro vac operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and equipment maintenance, to ensure efficient and safe execution of projects. Safety and Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance in all operations. Implement and enforce safety protocols, training programs, and compliance procedures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe work environment. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of hydro vac operators, technicians, and support staff. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement to drive operational excellence. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery, addressing client concerns or issues promptly, and identifying opportunities for business growth and expansion. Financial Management: Manage budgetary planning, cost control, and financial performance of hydro vac operations. Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize resource utilization, and ensure profitability while maintaining service quality. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and performance metrics to monitor and evaluate the quality of hydro vac services. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Technology and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in hydro vac operations. Identify opportunities to leverage technology and innovation to enhance efficiency, productivity, and service delivery. Qualifications Scheduling or Dispatch experience 2+ years Minimum of 5 years of experience in hydro vac operations or related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. Strong understanding of hydro vac equipment, processes, and industry regulations. Proven track record of leadership, team management, and operational excellence. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
