Power BI Data Integration Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled contract specialist to support the development of a corporate Power BI dashboard that consolidates data from multiple systems, providing a near–real-time snapshot of organizational performance. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop robust data pipelines to integrate and ingest data from diverse source systems into a Microsoft Fabric–based data warehouse. Assess and analyze source systems to identify required data sets, perform necessary data transformations, and load data efficiently into appropriate warehouse tables following best practices in data architecture and modeling. Create optimized data models, cubes, and views to ensure high performance and scalability for Power BI reporting. Develop and configure the Power BI dashboard using the provided data elements, defined layouts, and visual requirements (no creative design or new UX required). Rapidly learn the organizational data landscape and work independently to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Ensure the entire solution pipeline—from data ingestion through model design to dashboard visualization—is accurate, performant, and built for future scalability. Qualifications: Strong experience with Microsoft data integration technologies, including Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. Proven ability to build data pipelines and integrate multiple data sources into a unified data warehouse environment. Advanced skills in data architecture, data modeling, and performance tuning for BI solutions. Expertise in Power BI data model/cube design and dashboard creation. Ability to quickly understand new data environments and work independently on deliverables.
