Claims Administration Specialist - 9863 - IW-9863 Date of modification: Job number: IW-9863 Detail Job title: Claims Administration Specialist - 9863 Description Claims Administration Specialist Position Overview Fast-paced role managing diverse risk scenarios as part of a dynamic claims team. Facilitate claims processes, support incident investigations, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective resolution while mitigating future risks. Key Responsibilities Review and triage daily intake reports, prioritizing actions and determining investigation levels Assign tasks, set deliverables, and establish workflows for efficient incident processing Administer multi-line insurance claims and coordinate with Adjusters, legal counsel, and Insurers Monitor claims lifecycle, conduct follow-ups, and proactively address potential issues Identify process inefficiencies and implement data-driven improvements Analysis & Financial Management Produce claims reports and trending analysis by asset class, claim type, and coverage line Process complex claim payments and track financial settlements above/below deductibles Prepare quarterly financial reports and risk management analysis Support environmental claims tracking and insurer reimbursement requests Required Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience 7-10 years multi-line claims experience (commercial property and liability focus) CIP, CRM designation or actively pursuing Excellent communication and analytical skills Strong prioritization and time management in fast-paced environments Self-directed with ability to manage multiple stakeholders Experience directing adjusters and implementing process improvements Proficiency in MS Office; Power Bi knowledge preferred DGA Careers has been proudly serving the Canadian insurance industry for over 30 years, specializing in providing insurance recruiting services to major insurers, insurance brokerage firms and independent adjusting firms.
