Our consulting client is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant to join their team on a permanent, remote basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Oracle HCM, specifically with hands-on experience in the Time and Labor and Absence Management modules.


As an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant, you will be the key expert in implementing and upgrading Oracle HCM Cloud solutions. Your primary role will be to guide clients through the full integration of Oracle HCM Cloud into their existing business processes. You’ll handle all project phases, including fit/gap analysis, configuration, design, testing, and cutover, ensuring seamless adoption of the system.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of client business operations and processes.
  • Innovate and enhance business processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed on legislative and regulatory policies to provide timely and relevant advice to clients.
  • Act as a Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong skills in configuring the Absence and Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) modules.
  • Experience with additional modules like Talent Management, Global HR, Benefits, Performance, and Goal Management is a plus.
  • Integrate Oracle HCM Cloud with ERP systems, benefits carriers, and other platforms.
  • Lead Oracle HCM Cloud projects, having completed at least two full lifecycle implementations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in one or more HCM modules, leading project teams in rapid implementations.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders at all client levels.
  • Identify, track, and report key success criteria for each project.
  • Lead the migration of data and business processes from on-premise systems to Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Mentor and coach delivery teams, acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Facilitate team-building efforts and contribute to pre-sales activities.
  • Lead and participate in RFP, RFQ, and bidding processes.


Professional Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with ERP systems like PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, or Oracle EBS HCM.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a consulting role.
  • Certification in Oracle HCM Cloud or previous ERPs is preferred.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MBA, or a related field is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting skills, and adaptability to new tools and techniques.
  • Willingness to travel if required
  • Preferred certifications in PeopleSoft.
